The staff was friendly and helpful.
The air conditioning was not working properly during our stay. It was noisy and vibrated so much that we couldn’t use it effectively, which left us uncomfortable. We had hoped for a refreshing night’s sleep but ended up tossing and turning instead.

The Queen Room was pretty spacious with a nice walk-in closet and a mini fridge, which was cool. But the microwave didn't work, and I had to chase down clean towels every time. The bed felt too soft for me, and the noise from the outside was kind of annoying. On the bright side, there were extra linens and the pool area looked nice. Just felt a bit worn overall.

The central location near shopping and attractions made this hotel a convenient choice. Although the room was spacious and clean, the absence of cooking utensils was a letdown. While the free coffee each morning was nice, I wish there had been breakfast options too.

Had a positive experience during my recent stay at California Suites. The location is ideal, with easy access to freeways and major attractions. The grounds are well-kept and the pool area is inviting. My room was spacious enough for my work needs and kept clean throughout my stay, which is always a priority for me when traveling for business.
Some noise from the parking area was noticeable at night.

It was just a proper fit for a whistle-stop in San Diego with decent value for money. The remote in my room didn't work, which was frustrating. Make sure to check the kitchen supplies before you arrive.

We enjoyed the nearby beach and the pool was great for our kids and the dogs. It was a unique experience, spending time with our three dogs at such a pet-friendly place. Plus, it was a short drive to the excitement of Petco Park.
In my wife’s opinion, the cleanliness of the rooms was subpar. It would be great if they offered a proper cleaning before families check in.

missingWrote a review on 24 Juldark parking
The room had a noticeable humidity issue. The carpet felt damp which was less than ideal. Cooking in the room came with a catch-no pots or cooking utensils provided, requiring a visit to the local store for basics. The parking area presented a bit of a challenge, featuring numerous potholes and poor lighting that made navigating it at night somewhat uneasy. Although it felt secure with the locked gates and cameras, the overall ambiance of the grounds could use some refreshing, as they appeared somewhat dated and tired.

Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed the pool and checked out a game at Petco Park. The staff was friendly, and the price was budget-friendly. Just a heads-up, the rooms could use some TLC, but it's a perfect spot if you're just laying your head down after a long day of exploring.
We had a bit of an issue with the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. It was pretty small, and the sink situation was less than ideal, making it hard to wash up comfortably.

Solo travelers seeking comfort
I really loved how spacious the place was. I mean, there were so many areas to explore and even the staff at the front desk were available late at night, which was comforting when I arrived after midnight. They even helped me with directions to nearby spots for food, kinda like having a personal guide, you know?
It wasn't exactly cheap, but the overall experience was still acceptable.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff
I enjoyed my stay for six nights, particularly the friendly staff who were always eager to help. The kitchenette was a surprising bonus, making it easy to prepare simple meals. Don't miss the pool area for a relaxing afternoon. An excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers.
